All rail cars are Amtrak certified, which allows them to operate on all Amtrak routes across the breadth and width of the USA as well as some across Canada on VIA Rail routes. The versatility of the Rail these rail cars allows us to cater to any size of group. Here is some information about just a few cars available to charter: The Dover Harbor overnight accomodations for 10 in 5 bedrooms and daytime accomodations for 24,The Bella Vista and the Yerba Buena are both completely self contained, including food and beverage service, for day travel of up to 24 passengers, or overnight travel accommodating 8 passengers respectively. Hollywood beach accomodates 8 overnight and 24 for day trips, The Glacier Park, perfect for corporate meetings and larger groups can accommodate up to 30 passengers for day use, and coupled with the Gallatin River, a pure sleeping car, can accommodate up to 14 passengers for overnight travel. By adding the Yerba Buena to the Glacier Park and the Gallatin River, overnight capacity, with full food and beverage service, can be increased to 22 passengers. For travel in the Northeast corridor, between Washington, New York and Boston, bi-level dome cars are not available for charter, due to height restrictions on some bridges and railroad tunnels. However, the Yerba Buena, on its own, or paired with the Gallatin River, both of which can travel this corridor, offer sleeping accommodations from 10 to 24 passengers, with full food and beverage service. This fleet of luxury rail cars, including the Bella Vista, Glacier Park, Gallatin River and the Yerba Buena are available for private charter almost anywhere in North America. They travel on existing Amtrak routes, or VIA Rail routes in Canada. Our rail cars are added to scheduled Amtrak or VIA Rail passenger services, depending on the itinerary that you select. Even as we become part of a regular passenger train your chartered rail car offers complete privacy in luxurious surroundings. The Gallatin River is a sleeping car, with six double bedrooms and one master suite. ** Yellowstone National Park is accessible traveling from Sandpoint, Idaho, to Livingston, Montana, on the historic main line of the Northern Pacific Railroad under special arrangement with Montana Rockies Rail Tours, June through mid-September.
